ShakeAway, a United Kingdom-based company has branched off to the States, with the opening this weekend of its first U.S. stores in La Jolla and Pacific Beach. The company gave away free shakes to the first 50 people who showed up when the stores opened on Friday and Saturday. The La Jolla store (723 Pearl St.) opened Friday and the Pacific Beach location (90l Grand Ave.) opened Saturday.
